The Farnham Trust is delighted to announce that the next Verney Lecture is to be held at St Joan’s Church Hall, Tilford Road, Farnham on Tuesday 1st April 2025. The event is free of charge although donations will be welcome.
Everyone is welcome at 6pm for a welcome drink with the talk starting at 6.30pm.
The talk is to be given by Dr Kirsty Wright and is entitled:
“An alternative architectural history of the old Palace of Westminster”
Kirsty Wright is a post-doctoral researcher at Historic Royal Palaces and a historian specialising in the political and architectural history of 16th century England.
